Hello! I'm Donovan Lynch

    • I started photography in 2015 as a college course, Intro To Photojournalism. I was immediately intrigued by the power of telling stories through photos.

    • Studied Media Journalism at COB for two years and transferred to Television Producing at SCAD in Atlanta where I graduated with my BA in Television Producing.

    • At SCAD I worked as a Cage Equipment Specialist, where I dealt with cameras every day and assisted persons who rented equipment, showing them how to use photo and video cameras properly.

    • I’ve used multiple camera brands, such as Canon, Nikon, and Sony.

    • I started professionally taking photos in 2020

    • After returning to Nassau due to the pandemic, I started getting into BTS (Behind the Scenes) Photography. It was a link to meet different creatives here in The Bahamas and network, but I eventually found an appreciation and love for the medium.

    • Interned at Eyewitness News, and always tried to keep myself involved in some type of media

    • Photography was also used as a way to keep myself creative during the difficult time when many productions were limited due to COVID-19.

    • I got into content creation and social media management in 2020

    • Always try to tell a story through my photography, with a beginning, middle & end

    • Will always make sure you’re comfortable when I am behind the camera, especially if it's your first time

    • I love to travel. I got a greater appreciation for my country when I visited the islands.

    • I am well-connected in the Film/Television industry in The Bahamas.

    • Have experience working not only in The Bahamas but in the US at media companies such as ABC News, Tyler Perry Studios, BET, Georgia Public Broadcast
